Epoch
An epoch is the instant that fixes where a time scale starts counting. Lunar Coordinate Time reads 1977 January 1, 0h 0m 32.184s exactly when Barycentric Coordinate Time reads the same at the centre of the Moon; that starting point is arbitrary.
